Perseverance Meets Innovation

My career journey started unconventionally. I began college at 16 as a biology major, working in a biology lab before graduating high school. What seemed like a linear path toward law shifted dramatically during the pandemic, when a coding bootcamp redirected my trajectory.

That pivot led me from Goldman Sachs to pioneering AI startups and Fortune 500 consulting engagements. Along the way, I deepened my understanding of how equity and inclusion drive innovation in tech. Through mentoring young women at Girls Who Code and Kode with Klossy during my time at Goldman Sachs, I witnessed firsthand how diverse perspectives unlock better solutions to complex problems.

This awareness led me to co-found Oasis Collective, a non-profit tech house in San Francisco dedicated to advancing women in the tech industry. Today, I bring the same tenacity I've cultivated through amateur boxing and solo hiking El Camino de Santiago to my technical work.

As a generalist engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, I've architected ML models, built scalable frontends, designed backend systems, and led infrastructure initiatives — all while mentoring junior engineers and hiring development teams. My non-linear path has become my greatest asset, allowing me to approach technical challenges with a diverse perspective and champion inclusive innovation that drives real business results.

Current Passion: AI in Education

Beyond my consulting work, I'm exploring how AI can transform education. I'm currently building an AI tutor for a Montessori school, designing personalized learning experiences that adapt to each child's unique pace and interests.

This project combines my fascination with natural language processing and my belief that AI should enhance human potential, not replace it. By designing software systems that support educators and empower students, we can make quality education more accessible and engaging for all learners.

I'm excited by AI's ability to support diverse learning styles and create inclusive classrooms, extending my commitment to equity through practical, high-impact technology.
